VTT - CHRISTMAS IN THE PURPLE BATH!

Do you do Christmas in your bathroom? I do! I like to decorate in the first floor half-bath, but it can sometimes be challenging finding purple (especially vintage) decorations.

This photo is a "cheat", because I've shown the shutter before, but wanted you to see my reindeer fingertip towels. I picked them up at K Mart 4 or 5 years ago, fortunate enough to get one of each reindeer!

This is a gorgeous purple transferware breakfast cup by Woods Burslem, of Walgham Abbey in the Abbey series.

My little green pixie (forget maker) and a 70's Gurley choir girl.

This is a "no name" candle, but the sticker on the bottom says 1978.
These next two photos are of purple Victorian Christmas postcards, which I photocopied.

Please go over to Suzanne's to view the other vintage thingies this Thursday!

  1. I don't decorate our bathroom. Your's is so pretty! I keep looking at your pictures over and over again and can't tell which one I like best! I think the cup with the purple poinsettia might be my favorite, but I love that little angel candle too! I also love your postcards. Don't you just love reading the backs?! I hope you are enjoying the season! Twyla

  16. Funny you should do purple. I was just at my daughters apt. and she did purple and silver. I had so many beautiful purple decorations years ago. Must have sold them at our garage sale, and now she decides to do purple go figure : )
