REDNESDAY - DR. WHO?

Okay, so - I am so totally late for Rednesday this week! Why, you ask? Well . . . Teen and I have been watching a marathon of Dr. Who to get caught up on the past few seasons with David Tennant. So we finished tonight at 8:30. Awesome series! If you're not familiar with it yet, it's a sci-fi series on BBC America. (Thank goodness I found a photo with red in it!) Dr. Who is from a RED planet with RED grass - my kind of living!

Of course, I'm never without reds - here's a shot inside my garden shed with a few red handles and a red vintage watering can with a dwarf on it!

Why, I even have a "gardening" kaleidescope with a red wheelbarrow on it!

It even has red inside it!

My apologies to all of you whose blog I didn't visit last Rednesday. With an average of 45 - 50 participants each week, it's difficult getting around - I think this was the first week I haven't completed the list. One reason is that I now watch my friend's 6-yr-old on Wednesdays and Thursdays because my friend is recently divorced and has to work for a living. So I help her out by watching her daughter for free - two long days (I thought I was done with kids!), but I know it's what the Lord would have me do. So I'll do my best to get through the list each week - I hate missing out on your posts!

  1. You are blessed with having so many wanting to participate in Rednesday. That's wonderful. I understand about comments. I love getting them, but it does take a lot of time. After keeping a little one, there is not much energy left. I like all your reds. I have to look for mine.

  3. Even your garden shed has personality! I'm loving that plate next to the kaleidescope too! Cool photo of the inside!

You're always welcome to stop by my place but don't ever feel obligated to comment each time! Sometimes I just like to look and am to tired to even think of comments much less type them!

What a wonderful friend you are by helping another in their time of need. That is what makes life sweet.
Don't think twice about not visiting blogs, you host such a fun meme and that in itself is enough for me!
    Thank you very much.

  11. I love Dr. Who-- Tennent is my fave Dr. of the new series so far.
Love watering cans too-- I made the mistake of telling folks I like them and ended up with a collection. ;o) You are so good to help your friend-- my little one likes to look at photo meme photos and even help think of a comment (he really likes to type in the security code) so you may have a great little helper on your hands!

The posts will always be here for you to read. Watching your friends child is a very generous thing to do and more important right now.
I remember watching Dr. Who 20 years ago with the 'ex'. He was really in to the show.
I marvel at how organized your garden shed is. Kudos to you.
Thank you so much for hosting Rednesday for us all to share.

  19. Me & my boys love Dr. Who! My boys now want a "Time & Space" room with a police box & Dalek. Not sure how I'm going to pull that off! When they talk about the show most people don't know who Dr. Who is. So I'm glad we're not the only ones.

  30. I have not had a chance to get around to many Rednesday blogs myself. Summer seems to have a rhythm of its own, and some days one just gets swept away.

  31. I adore Dr Who and I happy to see some else who does. When I start talking about the Dr and Captain Jack and Rose, my family just gives me strange looks. The jury is out on the new Dr. though, not so sure.
