My turkey died on Sunday . . . the little fellow in this picture had a mate, but Becky knocked it over accidentally and it smashed to smithereens.
On the same day, which happened to be my birthday, Mister dropped and broke my yellow Fire King bowl! He said that instead of giving me china for my birthday, they were getting rid of some!
Now I have to get a replacement yellow bowl - we use that one all the time.Mister had this maraschino cherries jar in the barn and decided, recently, to let me have it. I soaked the label off and filled it with my vintage wood and spun cherries!

I hate to hear stories like this! I hope you find a replacement soon. I've been trying to collect that set, one bowl at a time. I haven't gotten very far though, because I've only got the green and the red!

Hi Sue, so aorry to hear about the demise of your turkey and bowl. I swear it must be contagious. I have been braking things alot of late. I broke a large jar that I fill for all the holidays. Then I broke a cute double white candelabra yesterday. Darn, I can't even get mad at anyone but myself. Love your cute cherry jar!
