WHAT IS IT?

Does anyone know what this is? (besides dirty, lol!) It was with some vintage kitchen tools and I haven't a clue. It's about 3" long.

  8. I looked at some pie crimpers and this has a double rather than the single roller. I would say sugar tongs if the fancy crimped ends opened a bit more to grab the sugar. So I still don't know what it is...lol!

  11. It's a towel holder! Lift up on the towel to release it. You can purchase these where bar equipment is sold.

  12. Back again to say I looked up the bar towel holders and that sure looks like one, an old or heavily used one. Nifty! I think I need some of those for other projects. That photo of yours inspired lots of thinking! Thanks!

  14. These look like an old-fashioned piece of sugar tongs, so against a piece of sugar tongs.
These can take a lump of sugar sugar container. :D

  15. Either sugar or butter. They used to make tongs for butter.
