Vintage Thingies Thursdays

I thought I would enter a post for "VTT", since I have lots of vintage thingies around my house! Here is my adorable gardening gal wearing the cutest sunbonnet and holding a bunch of turnips, I think. She is made by Ucagco, Japan. The vintage books, from left, are Elizabeth and her German Garden (no copyright but a Christmas 1901 inscription), A Field Guide to the Birds (copyright page torn out), and Fairy Land of Science by Arabella Buckley (1879).

  11. So sweet! We just unpacked a few vintage books today - they seem somehow more real than new books do. ~Kelly
