It's not my norm to show graphics, but with school being so close now, and being in my thoughts 24/7, I thought I'd share some old-fashioned type pics that I've collected over the years! Feel free to use them!
This is a Currier & Ives print that I have framed for our home school.
In 1931 Jane Addams was the first U. S. woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
A wonderful vintage school post. You did really well assembling all this together.

ReplyDeleteso true! Thanks for the fun vintage post on school! Won't be long now

ReplyDeleteGreat post for this time of year...too bad school today is not nearly as charming as days gone by. Have a great VTT.
ReplyDeleteYou did a gteat job of getting all this together. I loved your post. Happy VTT, have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteFun post! And I have a bell just like the one you pictured. I think I shared it on a VTT post before. Or was it a Three or More post. Anyway I did picture it on my main blog one day.
ReplyDeleteNow that I no longer work for the school district and have grown kids, I am kind of out of the loop regarding the school schedule. Some schools around here have started. Probably most of them. Today was the first day for many of them.
Happy VTT!

School here is MORE than "close" - - - today finishes my first day back! We went a week and a half later than the county schools, so they've been in a LONG time already.
ReplyDeleteWe don't start school here until after Labor Day. Cutest post!! Love all the graphics!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments. I'll be back.
