A NEW LAMP

I picked up this lamp at one thrift shop and the shade at another. I adore the little cottage scene.

But, I'm not sure if the shade looks too big for the lamp base. So I need your opinion! Tell me what you think, please!


Thank you, everyone! The general consensus is to separate them. I'm sure we can do it amicably and without a lawyer!

    I love the shade but in my opinion it looks too big for the lamp....at least in this picture. Maybe you can use the shade on another lamp.

    I love the lamp and the shade but do agree it is a little big for the lamp.

    Yup, I think it is a little too big also....I picked up a lamp at a thrift store this week too, but I have to paint it...I have the before photos already taken! Your shade would be cute on my lamp! :)

    I am lamp challenged. The shades never look right to me. Maybe that's why I hardly have any!! ☺

    What a sweet little lamp... but yes I think the shade is too big and even a little dark for it.

    I love the lamp and shade. I am not sure it is too big. I am not good at figuring that out. I love the shape of the bottom of the shade.
