MILK GLASS CAKE STAND + DAYLILIES

Look what I picked up at my fave thrift store! A beautiful milk glass cake stand - for only 5 bucks! I'm lovin' the details on it ~


It's even pretty upside down! They just don't make things like they used to.

Now, we all know that Ditch Lilies look like these, right?

Well, these are supposed to be Ditch Lilies, but obviously they're not. I transplanted them from the same patch in my yard as the above-colored ones, but these are obviously something else - and I love them! That's a Hyperion in the background.

    Your cake stand has such a pretty lace edge. I love milk glass. And I love Day Lilies too. I have a bunch of the "ditch lilies" out in the back.

    Beautiful cake stand. I love love all of your flowers. I haven't done any gardening and I sure do miss it now. Hopefully I can start in the fall. Thanks for sharing yours with us.

    Cake stands! LOVE THEM ... and I seem to be "collecting" them, as I've got probably half a dozen now, and just picked up another at GW yesterday.

    Yours is gorgeous milk glass .. love the lacy detail. And how talented -- it can stand on its head! (Maybe it was in a circus once upon a time.)

    Love the lilies, too -- daylilies are so gorgeous, and so fleeting!

    Your milk glass cake stand reminds me of my MOm she had lots of milk glass.

    It's hard for me not to buy cake plates

    Sue, they do not make cake stands like this anymore and a few years ago we went to a dinner party and of course a kiddo broke my vintage cake stand! I still miss it! Beautiful daylilies. smiles...Renee
