REDNESDAY

Hi everyone!
I got nuthin' today . . . yup, that's right - nuthin'!

I am still so busy in the garden that I have hardly had time for anything else. Would you believe that I started 80 different varieties from seed so far, and I'm not done yet! I still have to "plant out" some seeds, such as sunflowers, nasturtiums, poppies, and a few veggies. I have a large yard and, mind you, it's definitely not magazine worthy, but it's mine and I love it!

I hope you'll show me all your beautiful reds this week!

  1. Hi Sue!
I've never planted anything from seed and I'm so looking forward to seeing all your plants! I adore sunflowers, nasturtiums and poppies too. Have fun!

  2. I wish I had the space to grow all of my annuals from seed, because I'd save a fortune! My gardens aren't magazine worthy either, but they sure do give me alot of pleasure. Be sure to share pics of those nasturtiums when they bloom, ok?
    Happy REDnesday,

Hard to believe you had no red today, Sue.

Have a great day, my friend.

  8. 80 varieties! I'm so impressed! I hope you will post lots of pictures. I planted from seed this year for the first time EVER. Just zinnias, cosmos and poppies but they are already a couple of inches tall and I can't even tell you how excited I am about that!

  9. I enjoy working in my yard as well. It is hard work and time consuming, but it relaxes me. However, I do get tired. I am always delighted when you drop by far a visit. Be careful and do not overdo it.

  12. You must have a very green thumb ... or 2 of them. Happy Rednesday, even though I don't have any reds to show either ... only my 4 repurposed chairs turned into planters, and there's no red on any of 'em.

  13. I admire you for planting 80 varieties; that is a lot of work and will give a lot of beauty in return, and yummy things to eat.
