IRISH REDNESDAY!

Red on a Green day? Or Green on a Red day? Ya know what - it doesn't matter! I did manage to find a few St. Patty pics with red in them. (These are all PNG images)

We'll start with a few lasses showing off their auburn tresses ~

A nice wagon with bright red wheels!

A young lass with a reddish dress and red clover . . .
And a laddie in a red-lined cape and red clover also!

Nice red-roofed buildings and a red skirted lady.A wee little leprechaun playing a concertina whilst the ladybugs sing.

And a glowing red sun setting o'er Eire.

Lastly, my "red shamrock" plant that Teen gave me for Mother's Day last year. In summer it has very reddish leaves and bright yellow flowers. (Oxalis hedysaroides 'Rubra')

Lovely St. Patty's Day images, especially the one with the red shrooms! And I love your shamrock plant! I've had several of those, and they do fantastic for me outside in the summer, but I've managed to kill them all once I brought them in the house. Must be too dry or something.
Now if you'll please excuse me, let's both go watch LOST!
Happy REDnesday!

Sue,
Well with a last name like McClay I guess tomorrow should be a big deal...but my husband has to work and there is no one to celebrate with! Thank goodness I don't have to have the smell of corned beef and cabbage wafting thru my home! :)

Hi Sue,

Wow I am impressed with your Red post. You are the queen of red, since you were able to find red even on St.Patrick's Day. Love the pictures.
Have a wonderful red St Patty's Day.

I am copying your first irish picture of the young lady, if that is okay. Her dress is my favorite Jadeite Green color. I think I will have to make her 3-d in some way for a decoration for next year. The pics are lovely, thanks for sharing.

The pictures are all so charming and beautiful. I had a Shamrock plant when i was in college...loved it and it's pretty light pink blossoms.
Happy St. Paddy's Day and REDnesday!

Wonderful idea mixing rednesday and St. Patrick's Day! I should have added in my little Irish dancers in front of my red plate that is on the sidebar but I forgot them until after I loaded the post!

The vintage images are just fabulous.
Happy St. Patrick's Day,
Dawn
