REDNESDAY CIRCA 1937

Today I'm sharing with you some pages out of this cute 1937 Science book called Sunshine and Rain. Feel free to use the images (which all have red in them)!

NOTE:
LINKY is installing a new server just for the thumbnail (picture) links because they are so popular! This will start on Tuesday, 3/1. Brent says, "There will be NO interruption in service when the new thumbnail server goes online, however IT IS GOING TO TAKE 2-3 DAYS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. I’m praying there won’t be any website slowdowns in the meantime, like there were today (Monday), but I have no way of knowing or guaranteeing that."

So, if you have any problems, just keep in mind that it's temporary. Thanks!

Your choice of images are always soooo SWEET Sue.. They look very similar to styles that inspired me, over the years as a child to create in me this need I hold inside to DRAW.. Isn't God soooo Awesome the way He works in our lives...Thanks for ALWAYS being here, and for ALWAY sharing such delightful trinkets,nic-naks, images and vintage finds..

Oh how cute! And what fun for reading activities for grandparents and grandchildren. My grandkids and I have enjoyed Dick and Jane together, which looks like a similar style of pictures. They'd love this as well. :)

FYI - The linky worked ok except it gave me an error message for a web pix - had to do the regular pix. then again, I am working at the library on my Netbook instead of my regular computer, so that could be part of it. But in case others have issues, I wanted to share that. :)

Thanks for another delightful REDnesday. :)

Very cute illustrations in this book, Sue! I'm so sad because I couldn't find a single red thing to share today. I feel lost without REDnesday!

Oh Sue Sweetie...
What a beautiful share today. I love this little reader. They just don't make them like they used to anymore do they. These were simpler times and I sure do love the way it was taught.

Each photo so precious. Thank you for sponsoring Rednesday. I am participating today. I love love it. Happy Red sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

I find myself with 2 links for Rednesday again. Is this ok? I have so much red in my life, I could link with you every day, I think.:) Please just let me know if you don't want me linking more than one.

This Ozark Farm Chick just jumped over here from Agin' Disgracefully and am so glad I did. I've done a little snoopin' while here...don't worry...I put everything back just the way it was. I'm twisted like that!

The vintage prints remind me of the artwork in the old Dick and Jane books I learned to read with.

God bless and have an amazin' day!!!

Giveaway...my place! :o)
