REDNESDAY

Hi everyone! I had that Blogger problem from last Thursday until about 2:45 on Tuesday - came back just in time for Rednesday. Carol, of Old Glory Cottage, was standing by in the wings to put up Rednesday for me, if needed!

Crazy weather all over the continent (and elsewhere) lately. We had a hot and humid week, 88F/31C, which is usually reserved for July/August. But, this is just a part of what the Bible says will happen before Jesus comes again. Are ya ready?

Well, right now, I'm ready for red stuff! I'm just glad that yard sale items are so cheap! With Mister still unemployed, they're the best (and funnest) way to shop! I had a "Magpie Ethel" day last weekend. Look at all this stuff - which was on the "$1.00 or less" table! Crazy, huh? People just don't know the value of what they've got. The thermos was $2 though and, look, it says Happy Home on it - how cute!
Came across some cheap books, too ~
I only bought the Nan and Ann in Thrift Town just for the title - cuz that's where I live!

These two books were purchased specifically for the polka dotted jackets - sometimes we're so vain! All books were only 25 cents each! Yay!

What a great Rednesday - full of cute vintage clipart, lovely yard sale finds, and even sweet family memories. My copy isn't nearly as cute as yours, but I have a book in the Maida series I remember enjoying when I was about 10 years old - umpteen years ago! How fun! ;)

I'm so sorry to hear about your Blogger issues. Computer woes are never fun! I'm praying for your family! And YES -I am TOTALLY ready to go home to my Savior BUT also to stay and be used by Him here - including by teaching the 10 commandments to my grand kids - as you are. What a joy! Have a blessed Rednesday! :)

It's seriously that hot there? We haven't even hit 80 yet! It was 62 today - the last day of school. We're usually 85 by now.
