It's Tutor Day for my teen, so as I was retreating to my computer with my favorite coffee mug - a Mary Engelbreit of course - I decided to snap a photo of it.
Then . . . I had already decided last night that I would share these darling curtain pulls that dh got me for Christmas 2007.
I didn't feel like putting them up last year because they were very dingy, so I tucked them away and forgot about them. Last week I found them again, gave them a good soaking in a gentle dishwashing liquid, and here they are! Ready to hang at my cherry-curtained windows!
That's when it struck me - I love red and have tons of red items - so why not have a Red Day? I knew about Blue Mondays, Vintage Thingies Thursdays, Pink Saturdays, etc., but didn't recall anything on Wednesdays (even though I'm sure there are). So I decided on Red Wednesdays for me and, when looking at the letters, said "Hey! I'll call it Rednesday!" So I fiddled around and made a little logo. So this will be me on Wednesdays.

I had to take a peek and see how Rednesday got started... (I love to know things like that :o)
What a wonderful idea :o)
I started blogging in June and thankfully I had some time to learn about it and getting my etsy shop together! Now that I am working full time, my fun blog time has been limited (In the beginning, I was spending crazy amount of hours in front of the computer, since computer savvy...I am not! haha
So, for now, I am doing great to get a new post up at least once a week! When I can figure out a time to do a red post, I hope to try out a Rednesday post :o)
Too cute :o)
Blessings & Aloha!
(Our younger daughter loves cherries too and I would sing her this when she was younger... "Cherry Berry muffin...she looks sweet, she smells sweet, she is sweet too..." It is from that little Cherry Merry muffin doll commercial.)
