Vintage Thingies Thursdays

I thought I would enter a post for "VTT", since I have lots of vintage thingies around my house! Here is my adorable gardening gal wearing the cutest sunbonnet and holding a bunch of turnips, I think. She is made by Ucagco, Japan. The vintage books, from left, are Elizabeth and her German Garden (no copyright but a Christmas 1901 inscription), A Field Guide to the Birds (copyright page torn out), and Fairy Land of Science by Arabella Buckley (1879).

What a cute blog you have! You'll have so much fun exploring, and creating, and writing. It's a wonderful outlet, and a great way to "meet" folks. Glad you signed up for VTT, it's fun each week to see treasures. Your display is so cute, and nice items too.

So sweet! We just unpacked a few vintage books today - they seem somehow more real than new books do. ~Kelly
