Will I be one? In the past two days I went to 313 blogs who were having giveaways! (It's been cold and rainy here - is that a good excuse?) The first one was hosted by Sew, Mama, Sew! and there were 245 giveaway hostesses!
The second one was hosted by Twice Remembered and there were 68 hostesses!
Now, you're probably thinking I'm a little deranged (and I'm sure Old Dame Penniwig is flexing her muscles for a flailing), but I didn't enter them all. Many, but not all. I think I have carpal tunnel in my right, mouse-clicking wrist!
Are any of you familiar with Anime (Japanese animation)? My Teen is into Anime and Manga (the "comic" books). I knew she loved Ouran High School Host Club, and she made me watch the series (26 episodes) with her this month. I have to admit, this was a good one. Some are a little weird, or hard to follow.
This one is about a poor girl who wins a scholarship to an elite high school. She finds her way into an unused music room and accidentally breaks a priceless vase, and has to work it off. This room is used by the Host Club, a group of young (rich and bored) men who host tea and conversation for all the young (rich and bored) girls in the school. The poor girl has to dress like a boy and work in the host club to pay off her debt. Funny escapades with a happy ending!
Here are two old bottles I have on my bathroom windowsill. The taller, purple one matches my purple painted room! And the other, Kreml Shampoo, is described in the vintage ad I found on Google.
