HEIDI



I haven't shown any vintage books in a while. This edition of Heidi is from 1945 and has a nice slipcover with it.

Thanks so much for visiting my place today. Our children are big so we don't read to them anymore. It hurt to give away their old books. Not vintage but well worn: "Through three cheese trees three free fleas flew..."

what a nice post about Heidi.. I used to read this book when I was a kid.. I don't know where my book is.. by looking at your post.. about time I search for one.. and pass it to my kids.. Heidi.. I love her story.. her adventure with her friend the Billy.. Happy 4th!

What a sweet book, with wonderful illustrations! I've just started collecting alot of the classics, and this sure would qualify. I've been really restraining myself from saying anything naughty about MJ, but...yes. Yes it does.

I truly enjoyed Heidi from your view point. I love books old or new. You did a super job on the pictures too.
