REDnesday - The Rat Race

Here we are again! The strawberries are done - boo hoo! But, the blackberries are ripening and the blueberries are almost here!

Life is a rat race! Even if it's only for play. Here is a reproduction vintage toy by Schylling.

I picked up this cute tin at a thrift store on Monday. Just my style!

And here are some old egg cups Mister picked up for his mother - she collects red glass.

Join the fun!

That is so cute how you displayed the "rat race". It's great to see how everyone comes up with such neat ideas. Happy day to you.

Hello Sue,
I like your cookie tin and those egg cups are very nice! I'm so happy you've started a Red themed blog party, because I have been wanting to join in on one! Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Sue! The rat race is so absolutely darling. I just loved it. Now you didn't mention the beautiful tablecloth with the red cherries on it. So pretty. I just love collecting linens. I could spend days just looking at the tablecloths and napkins. So much history behind them all. If those vintage cloths could take and tell us the stories they have heard at their tables. Have a beautiful day. Stop by and say "hi". Country hugs, Sherry

That rat paper is too cute and the race would entertain my kids forever! Now where do you keep all your red stuff? I would run out of room. :)

I don't have red today just flowers pictures from a hike. Sorry... :(

Hey Sue,

Go here to find seed.

http://www.larnerseeds.com/_pages/shrub_and_vine.html

The yellow yarrow is a small shrub. I am not sure about cold tolerance though...

And you wont believe it but my word verification is "native" THAT's COOL!

I guess I am psychic since I just got your seed request. I can grab some too but you can get it from the link if you want it asap!
