HARD COVERS & HOME SCHOOL

I have been so busy the past few days that I didn't even post on Vintage Thingies Thursdays! The culprit? Home school preparation. I have all the books, now I just have to organize, and all that jazz. I use the Charlotte Mason Method by way of Ambleside Online.

Now, speaking of books . . . I do so love old hardcovers with beautiful cloth covers. I received an email from Abe Books featuring 30 colorful antique hardcovers. Yes, they're out of my price range, but soooo beautiful to look at. Click here to visit the page. I would love to own this book below!

Have a literary day!

What a beautiful book cover! Of course, you honed in right on the cherry blossoms, LOL...

Have you considered having your kids make a website as part of their homeschool experience? I had my son make a few...

That is beautiful. And I have some lovely antique books that I've been wanting to display more and I just last week bought a bunch of plate stands at the thrift store and Im going to use those. :)

Blessings on your homeschool prep, I don't know how you ladies do it!

Sue,

Thanks for stopping by my blog and thanks for the clarification on Rednesday pronunciation! :)

And you know, I'm really more of a coke person myself, I must confess, but Pepsi had some really great ads in the 1950s, so they will for design if not for taste in my heart. :)

Looking forward to this weeks' Rednesday, I have some cute stuff to share.

Blessings!

That book is gorgeous! I would love to be able to dedicate one room in our house to nothing but old books. I love them!
Sue, I admire you so much for being a homeschooler! It definitely takes a special person to take on that challenge. When's the first day of school?

Howdy Sue
What sweet cherry blossoms
you found !
I love vintage books.
Just rode by to wish you all the best as you prepare for school.
I miss homeschooling so much some days than other days I wonder how we ever got all the way thru.
Life has been on fast forward for a long time.
It's nice to look back and remember our homeschool adventures.
I keep hinting at my son he neeeds to get married ,have a family while i am still young enough to help out with homeschooling
(you are going to homeschool your children aren't you son) he just smiles and says some day.
Blessings to you and yours.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs
Happy Trails
