REDNESDAY - THRIFT SHOP REDS

I mentioned the other day that I would show a few red things that I picked up thrift shopping recently. Actually I got a lot of red stuff - cheap!

This red-framed print was bought because I like the frame, but ended up hanging the pic in the kitchen because it's "Fall-ish". The sneakers just happened to be my size!
This is a W. S. George "Mexi"-patterned platter that I put on Ebay this week. I love it, but it's really not me.
I love this bowl! It looks like a cereal bowl, but is mixing bowl size.
Got this Royal China "Memory Lane" creamer, then found the sugar bowl on Ebay to make a pair.

Now, this tin box is cool. It looks like it had those menu/recipe cards in it at one time. This must be from the 60's 'cuz I've only seen plastic ones.
I'll leave you with this cute little Kitchen Prayer plate that has a red tea kettle and cups!

My kitchen (and it's owner) are very jealous of all those vintage reds! I have a small collection of vintage items (some red) for my kitchen. Cannot wait until hubby finishes painting so I can put them on display!

I like that really big bowl.

Those little wooden acorns are so cute! I used to make little dollies from them.

Just love that big bowl. So pretty! Your red shoes reminded me of a lady I saw at the post office this morning. She got out of a red car wearing a red sweat suit, red shoes and even had streaked her dark hair with bright red! I was walking behind her and so wishing I had my camera!LOL!She won the prize for "red lover of the week"!
Hugs,
Dawn
