I couldn't resist - I just had to have her making a cherry pie! One thing puzzles me, though - why does she have a shot glass beside the rolling pin??

I did mention that I'd be showing you what I picked up at my MIL's church thrift store. And, I also mentioned my trip to the Salvation Army store. So here's what was acquired on the cheap!

First is a little Chinese tea cup with a nice red border.

Then I found this adorable Santa house by Enesco. It's quite beat up - there's a roof piece missing on the other side, something on the front of the roof has come unglued, and I can tell that there once was a little bottle brush tree behind Santa. I can fix all these. I'm stumped about why there's an opening in the house - I've never seen one of these before. Any thoughts are welcome!

Isn't this the greatest napkin holder? (I think it is!) Can't wait to set it out.

This vegetable serving bowl is "restaurant ware" by Caribe China. There were two of them at the S.A., and I almost bought them both.

These pretty roses are modern Wood & Son, England saucers. How can I tell they're modern? They're dishwasher safe!
I guess that's all for now! Let me see what you've got this week!

I really enjoyed seeing all the great things you found. Your store must be better than mine. Perhaps that little container is possibly a measuring cup. Enjoy your holiday.

LOL...I think that's a measuring cup, but you're right, it resembles a double shot glass.
I love your precious pieces, especially the teacup, santa house and napkin holder. I have a candle that is similar to the santa on the little house.
Happy Rednesday! (thanks for starting on Tuesday night...I don't always have time Wednesday morning!)

You mean to tell me you don't have a nip of cooking sherry while your making a pie?!
Great reds today, but I just adore that napkin holder! How cute is that? And the red dishes are gorgeous!
Happy Rednesday Sue!

Hi Sue,
I think that is a measuring cup or a salt shaker! At least that's what I choose to think it is! I love those bowls, and the little Chinese cup is so cute! Great finds, Sue! Best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgivng and a Happy REDnesday.

Hi Sue...I think your little cherry pie maker is perhaps having a shot of cherry brandy on the side! LOL!

Hi Sue, Love, love love your Rednesday button today! He,he,he, I've seen a few women take a couple of shots to get through Thanksgiving prep and a house full of in-laws! Not me, but I have seen it!

I'm thinking that must be Santa's garage. The real question is where's the sleigh?

Love your platter and plates too. I've got a post scheduled for tomorrow morning. I'll be back by to link up then.
Have a great Thanksgiving,
Dawn

Well I know I feel like I need a shot when I'm trying to roll out a pie! :) KIDDING! I can't drink at all!

It's hard to tell how big your santa house is. could it be a letter holder?

The napkin holder is perfect! ♥
