A NEW SENATOR IN MASSACHUSETTS!

If any of you follow national politics, here in Massachusetts we had a special election yesterday to replace Senator Ted Kennedy in Washington. Republican Scott Brown won the election. Voter turnout was amazing!

I lived in Massachusetts many years ago and loved it there. I am a big fan of The NEW Senator! He looks like the breath of fresh air the US Senate needs!

Most fun I've had watching an election in years! My husband is a Massachusetts lad, and he did not think it was possible --- I won that bet!

Politics -- endlessly fascinating and equally frustrating! Good luck to the new Senator, and to the Commonwealth.

My husband and I watched the election results all night. Then, his acceptance speech on Fox. We were so pleased it was such a convincing win. I hope he shakes things up when he gets there!

Washington needs shaking up so maybe this will give them all reason to take notice of "we the people".

My sister works with a man from Boston. She just learned from him the morning after the electin that Scott Brown is a "close friend" of their family. My sister's co-worker says that he is a "very personable, and down to earth man."
And he told her a few choice stories which she related to me immediatly! HA! All very inspiring.

We were "sold" on him ever before the election but boy are we ever happy for the state of Massachusetts now....
