REDNESDAY

I love this little lady in her red dress! I'm going to try to stick with this photo each week but, you know me, I love to change things around!

*sigh* ~ I still haven't put away my Christmas dec's yet. I started working on it today, though! I do plan on showing you all where I store them, as I was asked about that recently.

Back to the "regular" reds today. When I was helping Pre-Teen sort through her stuffed animals a year or so ago, I swiped this one. I think it's supposed to be Mary Had A Little Lamb.

You may have seen this in the background of some other photos; it's cut from a Country Living magazine, I believe.

Mister bought me this darling creamer bottle for my birthday in November. It's from Hood Milk Co. in Boston, Mass. They delivered dairy to our house when I was a kid. I was always mesmerized by the freezer door on the side of the truck, where the ice cream was stored - magic came from that door!

I'm looking forward to seeing your first reds of 2010!

Your creamer bottle makes me want to find out the name of the dairy that delivered our milk when I was little! I remember the box that sat outside our front door, that would hold the milk. Oh, to have that box and some of those bottles!
Happy REDnesday Sue

P.S. I don't believe you when you say you are going to use the red dress lady every week! I think you have too much fun making graphics to ever do that! And I always look forward to seeing the graphic you make each week!

Love the lady in the checked dress. Those gals from the 50's always looked so fresh and ready to go, unlike me - old and worn! Hubby has a milk bottle collection but he didn't have to work to hard for it since he grew up on the dairy! I like the way you put the paper in it to show off the graphics better.
Hugs,
Dawn

I'm new to this linking in with you on a theme but I'll give it a try. Sent here by my friends Claudie and Sherri. Things that remind us of old times that were special are always so great. The milk bottle and the ice cream in the door is just one of those great memories. How sweet of the MR. to give you something like that.

Happy Rednesday.

I just came from Penniwig's blog and found you. I love red too. Happy Birthday once removed and then I found the Asperger's awareness button and decided, I needed to follow. My wonderful grandson Ry has Asperger's, perhaps we might have some info to share.
Love what yer place looks like, I'm gonna have fun here. Hope you'll come see me at Olde Baggs, Linda in New Mexico

I think that stuffed animal represent TWO tales...Red Riding Hood and Mary Had A Little Lamb...

Love the milk bottle. Gosh, the things of the past that we didn't know to keep...

I love your little creamer bottle. I was lucky enough enough to find one from my little local dairy - Rosecrest. I can remember the bottles just sitting on our little porch up until I was about 5. Then I remember them delivering the milk to our school. Love the little blue and white creamer peeking out too. Sweet little red bunny too. Love the framed saying too. Happy Rednesday!
