VTT - IF I KNEW YOU WERE COMING . . .

We all know that old saying, "If I knew you were coming, I would have baked you a cake!". Well, now I can officially do it ~
This is a pedestal cake plate that I thrifted over the weekend. I chuckle every time I walk by it!

That's all I have for today, so you better high tail it back to Suzanne's for other vintage goodies!

That song was sang by Eileen Barton in 1950! I currently have it on my music player over at "Mick's" My friend Pamela and I are always saying to guests who come to the Casablanca "If I knew you were coming I'd of baked a cake" We even went so far as to get the vintage sheet music off of ebay frame it and hang in the kitchen over the stove! Your Cake plate is great what a find! I'll be over shortly ;)

I just love your plate. So pretty and I have to share this post with my daughter. She is a huge baker and makes everyone a cake or cookies for every occasion and we just recently came across that song on an old CD. It is now her theme song! hehe
Great post!
Happy Easter,
Karen

How can you keep topping yourself each week? Well, you sure have this week. That cake plate is a crack up. What kind of cake did you bake for us this week? Will you bake us another one next week? Maybe RED velvet?

Happy Easter!
