REDNESDAY - KNIFE AND NOTEBOOKS

I almost didn't make it! Teen hooked up her Wii to the internet so we can watch Netflix movies directly on the t.v. and, in doing so, lost the wireless connections to Mister's and my pc's. But, thank goodness, we got it all straightened out.

This is my red pocket knife that sliced my forefinger yesterday while sharpening garden tools! Right on the knuckle, too, so I had to put a makeshift splint on my finger so I wouldn't bend it and bleed to death!

This is a cute napkin holder that I use for notebooks and paper and stuff.

And, here are some red tulips that popped up yesterday!
I have been using every available minute this past week to soak up the sun while puttering in my garden - it's good for the soul!

That's such an adorable graphic you made for this week, Sue!
I used to have a great knife like that, carried in my purse at all times, but it got confiscated at some event where they search your purse!
Your tulips are gorgeous, especially mixed in with the lamb's ear. There's nothing better than spending all day working in the garden, is there?!
Happy REDnesday!

I so agree with Carol, I love the new graphic. I am going to swipe it for next week's post!

Your tulips are so pretty I have one lonely yellow tulip that hasn't quite opened yet.

Right now, the way I have been dropping and reaking things, I don't dare touch anything sharp! LOL

That wire birdhouse make a cute noteook holder!

Have a great Rednesday!

Nice red knife. I have a swiss army pocket knife my Honey gave me. I am careful cause I am a klutz and would cut my self easily. Love the new graphic and used it on my Red post!

Hugs,
Linda

Hi Sue
Gardening can be dangerous! Especially with a sharp knife!
The knuckle is the worse spot for a cut! Glad to hear you got your computer problem ironed out before Redwednesday!
REd tulips are so pretty! Yours is a vivid red!
Happy Redwednesday!

Such useful reds AND a gorgeous red right at the very end. Don't you love when you can repurpose something? The napkin holder is so adorable and better as a notebook holder.

I'm sorry about your knuckle. I cut myself with my husband's Buck knife once. I had to make my own splint too. Ouch!! If you are going to have a knife, it's best in red!! Thanks for being our weekly Red Hostess with the Mostess!!

Love,
Susan and Bentley

Sorry to hear about your finger! That stinks when there is outside work to be done!

Please share more of your garden! The snippets you've shown are just beautiful!

And thanks for the heads-up on Netflix and the Wii. We have been waiting for the day to take advantage of this great service! I hope we can avoid the connection problems you've had to tackle!

Have a great day!

Ooo, yuck, ouch! That sounds like not much fun~you must have sharpened them but good. I do hate it when that happens. My left index finger just healed up from a mean ol' burn.
I like your red house napkin holder - love how you thought "outside the box" and use it for storage.
Happy REDnesday and take care~

Sorry about your knuckle. (It was very polite of you not to show us the blood even if it was red!)

Well thank GOODNESS you didn't bleed to death! We'd have missed Rednesday. :-)
Love that little red basket, and MY red tulips are featured in my post today, too.
I need more red tulips....

Now Sue....how come you didn't have your teen photograph your bleeding episode from the red pocket knife? You would have had an additional red photo to add to the post! :)

I was in a rush yesterday, and I am sorry I forgot to comment! How rude of me!

Hope your finger is better, and your tetanus shot is up to date!
