VTT - A YELLOW VIGNETTE

I'm participating in VTT again this week. Go to Suzanne's blog to see all the eye candy thumbnail pics for today!

I've showed some of these pieces before, but today I'm doing it as a whole. This is the top shelf over my computer table. I didn't intentionally buy yellow items, but it's always been my second favorite color, and this display kinda just evolved.

Coffee pot - eBay, Mini Crock - Seasons of Cannon Falls, Glass vase - Thrift shop, Yellow Vase - Anchor Hocking, Hello Kitty Gardener, Canister Set - eBay unmarked

Cup & Saucer - Royal Albert Country Scenes 'Primrose Hill', Yellow vase - yard sale, Green vase - Anchor Hocking, Child's Hanger - yard sale, Cherry plate - eBay.

Yellow is not a color that usually calls to me but your vignette is lovely and has me rethinking yellow!

I have as much yellow as I do red. The colors work well together or on there own. Lovely vignette.

What a cheerful and happy vignette. I've never been a big fan of yellow, but I really like your. I remember reading about a famous designer (can't remember her name) who said that the smallest touch of yellow will always make a room feel warm and welcoming. She was right!! I love that yellow coffee pot!!

If I were not a Utah fan (red), yellow would be my favorite color. Excellent work with these displays.

Hello Sue, What a sweet yellow vignette. My kitchen has yellow/gold walls with a smooth Intonaco finish, done by a master plaster artist. I love yellow and have red accents throughout the kitchen. It makes the room feel so warm and cozy. Seeing your yellow, made me so happy. Thank you for sharing.

I overdosed on yellow when I was young. I have avoided it since then, but I like the way your display looks so sunny and cheerful.

What a beautiful collection! Have you checked out the pocketbook I found at a yard sale last week? I immediately thought of you! I love the wallpaper border. Both you and Sandy from 521 Lake St. have inspired me to redo my laundry room in these lovely colors and designs.

How I ever lived without your blog, I'll never know, but now that I am here I am very happy because I have found a kindred spirit here. Your blog is so cheery and fun and I love everything here! Can't wait to come back again soon.
But one thing about us is (sadly) not the same: our computer area. You have a cozy shelf full of antiques and mine is .... well....not so cozy. It's rather messy, I'm afraid, but my walls are bright red...so that counts for something, right?
