BLOGGING, MULTI-TASKING, AND A YARD SALE

I think about blogging all the time ~ well, often, anyways!

My mind gets scattered and I get busy, and just can't sit at the computer all day blogging as I would like!

I wish my life was such that I could sit and have tete-a-tete's with you, all my blogger friends, each and every day!

Quite often I multitask ~ my computer is in the same room as my washer/dryer, craft table, Etsy/eBay stuff, seed-starting and planting materials. But I can't wash floors, drive Teen to and from school, and grocery shop from the computer!

Now that school's out, and the seedlings have all been planted, and Teen and Young Teen will be starting to do their own laundry ~ I'll have more time (hopefully)!

I also haven't been shopping (yard sales/thrifts) as much lately, so don't have as much to show as usual. Mister was unemployed for 1-1/2 years, and just went back to work (with the same friend doing biochemistry) in April. So finances are still as tight as ever. I don't work outside the home because of home schooling Becky, and Teen's special needs, too. I sell on Etsy and eBay for pocket money, but usually end up re-spending it on eBay! I've decided to discipline myself this year not to eBay as much - will be hard!

So, this morning I went to breakfast with Mister and 100-yr-old Grampy at McDonald's. We stopped at a yard sale on the way home. It would have been a good one if we had gotten there about 15 or 20 minutes earlier! There's this other woman that shops the same circuit we do, and she was already there before us with a box full of items. When her back was turned, I leaned over to look in her box and it was filled with all the "good stuff" - a tin tray, china figurines, etc. - priced from 10 to 50 cents each. Oh, pooh!

But I did manage to walk away with this recipe tin for 10 cents! A little something to brighten up my kitchen!

You know I think blogging could be a full time job if I let it,lol. That is just visiting full time, forget doing the posts,LOL

Too bad we all did not get an hourly salary for blogging....I thing there would be some wealthy woman out here:) I love your tin recipe box, way too cute.
