I WAS ON MY WAY TO BLOG WHEN . . .

Do you get distracted while trying to post? Here's basically what happened today ~

10:00 a.m. - sit down and open New Post page. Decide to check weather and emails before I get started. Oh, and I'd better throw in a load of laundry before I forget! (washer/dryer in same room as computer)

10:20 - Mister comes home after having breakfast with 100-yr-old Grampy to (finally!) put in the A/C's. (It was 90F/32C at 7:30 a.m.!) So I have to help him.

10:45 - Sweep kitchen floor, reload dishwasher, fold load of laundry.

11:00 - Teen wants to watch Dr. Who (#10) episodes, which I've been watching with her, so I sit down and we watch two.

12:30 - 12:45 - Put a few items on Etsy and Homeschool Used Books sites. Make more coffee and eat a piece of apple pie for brunch. Take clean laundry upstairs. Look up how to clean something on Google. Oh, and I need to catch up on a few blog friends while here.

1:30ish - Get distracted with more this and that.

2:15 - I'm here! Oh, yeah . . . and I've got to get my Rednesday ready for tonite!

I have the same problem when sometimes trying to post…that or I feel parched in the sense of having anything I feel like saying.

BTW, I arrived here via Cheeseboy.

Kind of sounds like me, too. I start looking at my favorite blogs, fully intending to write a new post, and I end up emailing everyone about something in their blog. By the time I realize 3 hours have gone by, it's my nap time.....;o) Then I take my 12 hour meds, wait till they kick in, then start dinner, by this time, I'm too tired.......and it all starts all over the next day.

Hugs,
Meri

I hate to tell you this, but it is not going to get any better even when you get to be as old an I am - 71. Now I have the added problem that I forget from one minute to the next what I am trying to put together for the blog. I LOVED this post....you really put a big, fat grin on my face. Now, I need to hurry up and get my reds together for tonight. Remember, when all else fails, THERE IS COMFORT IN NUMBERS! A Hot Happy Tuesday to you and all the Rednesday gals.....hugs, Genie

You know, once you write things down, you realize how your time is truly spent! I need to do that. I already put my Rednesday post up. I'm an early bird!

I am always so behind with everything due to dreadfully distracting blogs, spin and win game,a myriad projects all going on at once....gahh. How dare life get in the way of pleasure! My vow to clean thoroughly, one room a day lasted a week!

And now it is Rednesday already....I really need to get a wiggle on.

I so hear you Sue! There aren't enough hours in the day to take care of everything. Then there are those distractions and that procrastination! If I could just stop popping over to It's a Very Cherry World to see what she's up to...lol. Love the new Header on your blog.
Back to work....Vicki ;-)
