Well, it looks like we're just gonna get a bunch of rain - boo! The red arrow points to where I live. Cape Cod will get the hurricane, if any. At least I have a cute weather man to look at!
hmmm... I'm to the right of where it says Hyannis. But I'm getting a serious hunch we'll just have rain, too. My kids are going bonkers now because I've kept them home from outside activities today. lol
Okay, I just had to comment yet again. I REALLY needed a good laugh today and just as I was about to click away from your page I see the sticker on your sidebar which says, "Life is short, blog naked"...hahahahahaha...thanks Sue...lol...love it!!!
Having grown up 1 block from the Atlantic Ocean in Florida, I saw my fill of hurricanes as a child. We all had to either evacuate the island of Palm Beach and drive over to West Palm Beach or stay in the old Breakers Hotel(don’t guess that would be happening there this day and time) or the Whitehall (Henry Flagler’s home). It was pretty neat. My daddy was with the Corp of Engineers and was in charge of the evacuations. Those winds and waves could be pretty darn scary! I am 71 and remember them as if they were happening right now. Hope all is well with you. Hugs......XOXOXOO Genie
I'm like you...I love a good storm! Now of course we don't want anyone to get hurt or homes destroyed and even though I went 8 days without electric last year in our AR ice storm....I STILL love a good storm...as opposed to a bad one like Katrina or several others. That's my "disclaimer'.

Batten down the hatches!!!! Be safe! :):)
Good grief! We're nearly neighbors. Stay dry.
Earl skirted by us (the Carolinas) I'm thankful. I remember all too well hurricane Hugo in the late 80's.
Living on the West Coast I have never experienced a hurricane. Earthquakes yes, but not hurricanes. I hope everyone stays dry!

Glad you're safe...:)
Glad Earl isn't amounting to much...at least it kept the news reporters busy...
Good luck to you. I hope you weather the storm. (Quite literally.)
