I WANT TO BLOG ABOUT SOMETHING, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BLOG ABOUT

Let's see . . .

Mister is re-shingleing (sounds like a 50's song or a name - M. Night Shingleing) some of the barn, I'm in the middle of "redecorating" the kitchen for Autumn, but I took a break. Let me see what's on my camera . . .

This is a Begonia 'Bayou Pink'. I had a pot of them on the step, above, last summer that I had started from seed. This must have been from a seed that fell off the plant. Such a shock that a begonia seed would winter over and grow! I'll be potting it up soon to keep in the house.

We all know that cats sleep in the darndest places! Smokey seems to think this flower box makes a good bed!

A Petunia with a split personality!

Here's a couple of old containers ~ a "moonshine" jug and a cream/milk can.

Randoms thoughts are always good to share. ;-)

Oh my goodness!
1. I found a volunteer begonia growing in front of the garage door this weekend.
2. We have the exact same blue lounge chairs.
3. We have the same kind of cellar door outside.
4. Gotta moonshine jug too. And a deck (that I spent the weekend scrubbing and sealing)
I could post this post from my house!
Thanks for the random inspiration.

This was the most fun 'random' post I've read in a long time! Love it!

Good Morning Sue Sweetie...
Beautiful share today. I love random searching. Imagine that little begonia, it so wanted to grow. It looks so healthy too.

I love the split petunia and isn't Smokey a sweet site to behold? He loves the warm dirt no doubt.

Now that moonshine jug and the milk can is quite a combination. Milk for both generations?

Yes, I have SO enjoyed your share today. Sometimes it is fun to just walk and talk so to speak.

Thank you for the wonderful visit Sue, I have so enjoyed myself. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Love random posts. Sometimes simplicity is the best. Thanks for sharing and I sure do hope you give us a peek of your Autumn decorated kitchen.

Perhaps we should have a random post day! I am neglecting my blog these days and feeling quite uninspired even though I have a ton of projects lined up.
I should be getting out the Autumn stuff too, but to be honest....

Any seed that winters over and grows is a good sturdy one! So glad you're going to dig it up and enjoy it!

You can barely see Smokey in that planter. I bet he thinks it's camouflage!

I like the "randomness"...my blogs are usually the most interesting part of my day...which is sometimes scary I guess. I like my life but others maybe not so much. I liked yours today! And Smokey...now my cat uses those as litter boxes....Smokey's a good one...just takes a nap. I lost all my tomatoes and no green peppers to speak of but turn around and there's a HUGE volunteer pumpkin vine growing over my sidewalk....I give up!
Check out my blog today...I dyed material....www.farmgirlsam.blogspot.com

Fun random post! Being random is definitely not boring anyway! Loved your pictures.

Sue, You could probably put in a cold frame there and things would grow really well in pots. Your house creates it's own climate in that corner.
I was wonderin if you could help me. I can't find Elizabeth's email from Creative Breathing do you know it by any chance? She won the giveaway, but hasn't answered me back yet.
