Hurricane Earl is bearing down on us tonight here in Massachusetts. But that's the problem - it's tonight. I'll sleep right through it! I love the dramatics of a good ocean storm! The sun will be shining in the morning like nothing happened. Ah, well, life goes on.

It's supposed to hit Nova Scotia early morning, so I'll get to spend my whole Saturday hunkered down with board games and potato chips and lots of oooh's and ahhh's!

I am so sorry you are going to miss it. I guess it is not like an earthquake that will wake you up.
In other news, I got a package in the mail this week that made me laugh and laugh and laugh until I was blue in the face. It didn't happen to come from you, did it?
I feel your pain. We live on the east coast of Florida and we kind of get a little giddy when we see one heading our way. The small ones, not the CAT 4 ones. LOL! We did get big surf though so that's always exciting.

Of topic, but great picture of Earl! Stay safe!
You are too funny! I've had my share of hurricanes on the Gulf Coast. I don't care to experience anymore. You can have the excitement. :-)
Stay safe. ~ sarah
Sorry you are going to miss it but thankful it is going to miss you. ;)
We live in Florida and survived to tell about Hurricane Andrew as well as Hurricane Katrina and don't wish it upon anyone. I love the storm but the sounds are horrific and the aftermath is devastating at times. We were blessed to have come out of each untouched but some friends weren't. Some even lost homes.
I do agree the storms are so alluring and for some reason they still stir me up with excitement but now with a hint of caution too.
