FALL LEAVES AND SUMMER TEACUPS

Just a few odds and ends I felt like sharing today. The sun is shining and the golden Maple leaves are all over the ground making it twice as bright!

This is my neighbor's beautiful red tree ~
This is my yellow-leaf Maple ~
Look at all these leaves! Even hiding the well cover ~
Look what I found hiding in the leaves ~
(at least it's not a dead bird or chipmunk, which is what I usually find!)

This tea cup set was snatched by Mister at a yard sale this summer. It's very chippy and pretty! Of course, he didn't know any better and thought because it was chippy that it was more valuable - and paid $10 for them! Yikes - I would have paid $5 max! Oh, well, he'll live and learn.

My crocheted bread doily found a spot on top of the toaster oven. It's not too hot for it, and the black shows off the lettering nicely.

I hope you all have a wonderful Fall weekend! The Christian school my girls went to for elementary grades is having an indoor yard sale tomorrow, so I'll have to go check it out. Teen's hoping to find more Transformer "valuables" there!

Hi Sue! Your trees are still so pretty. Ours are almost all gone. They went from gold to brown/dried real quick. Were in have a severe drought here...over 8" below norm rain levels...they say tomorrow and ues shud be a little relief, but not enough. Hey take those 'chippy' teacup and plates and turn em into neat birdseed holders. Epoxy them together...Take a piece of round wood drill a hole to insert a dowel
to stick in the ground)..epoxy that to the bottom of the plate. If there's a chip noticable hotglue a silk flower over it.
Jim has done that too, but anything can have a flower in it, on it, or around it ;)
