REDNESDAY

Welcome to another wonderful week filled with RED! I have a few fun things to show you today.

First, is an old teddy bear and chair that I got (cheap) at the auction last month. I don't think the chair is old, just the bear.

"There's gnome place like home"! Aren't these guys cute in front of this house greeting card?

And, while I'm gnoming around, how about this little vintage block puzzle (2" x 3") with a gnome on the cover and on one side of the puzzle?

A few "Post Office" thrift store items within the past few weeks ~

a pretty vanity case and a cherries tablecloth!

and a new-in-package garden flag!

Teen turned 18 today (Tuesday) - what a milestone! She got a few Transformers, a Dr. Who (11th Dr.) Sonic Screwdriver Torch, two Star Trek (Kirk) keychains - one of the Enterprise and one is a Communicator replica, moolah from Mister, and some new dvd's - Avatar, Hot Fuzz, and How to Train a Dragon. Now she can't wait to register to vote!

That gnome puzzle is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. You seem to always find the most interesting things at your little post office thrift store!

Oh my goodness, here you are with "There's gnome place like home" and I typed "There's no place like home" over at my REDnesday post. Promise I had not seen this. Too funny. Okay, that's a sign that I have to get that Dorothy cake plate after all. =D

Love that chair.

Happy Belated Birthday to your Teen...Asher is turning 18 on the 1st...I think they would make an adorable couple Sue...When I read what she got for her birthday, I thought,,perfect girl...Yesterday Asher went to the movies with some friends, brought his back pack along...Spiderman! I love seeing him carrying that around...my 5 year old nephew had the same back pack for Junior Kindergarten. He thought it was pretty cool that a teenager had a pack just like his!
