REDNESDAY
Ya know the song "Good Morning Baltimore" from the movie Hairspray? Well, Teen just sat down to watch it with her tutor, who brought Chinese food over (I got some, too!). So, I feel like singing "Good Morning Rednesday"!
I have lots of pics for you, today. First is some Winterberry branches that I stuck in an old cream can on the steps.
Next are some books from my vintage Christmas book collection. I'm slowly getting the decorations out this week.
I picked up this Empeco canister yesterday for $2, and Mister got the utensils last week for under $2!
Someday I'll get a good enough camera that will adjust for lighting. This vignette was "as is" until I added the vintage plastic Santa ornament. The little wood heart says, "My heart is in the garden". The mesh ball is a birdseed holder, but I might put a votive or a plastic bird or something in it.
This collection is what I won from Sian of Diary of a Tinyholder blog. Can you believe that all this luscious stuff was the second place winnings? My favorite is the key chain - it already holds my keys!
Your turn! I'm sure I'll be seeing lots of Christmas stuff this week! (And the next, and the next . . .)

Sue, you have such a variety of great collections. One day I hope the next generation appreciates them as you do.
I think your pictures are just fantastic, but I can also relate to wanting a better camera..
I'm pretty sure I have the breadbox that matches your canister, but I'm just too lazy to get up from the computer right now to look! And you've inspired me to start looking for vintage Christmas books, because I just love your collection!
Happy REDnesday, Sue!

Hi Sue!
I love Hairspray, isn't it fun?!
Give me books and I'm one happy camper - I love looking at your shelf of lovely books! And I adore your canister.
Happy Rednesday,
Sally
Hi Sue -- Well other than Valentine's Day, I can't think of a holiday that fits Rednesday better than Christmas!
LOVE the winterberries in the old pitcher -- so simple and beautiful. The kitchen tools with the red wood handles (are they wood?) remind me of some my grandmother and mom had -- I best remember Mom's egg beater with the big red hand grip.
Wonderful tin, too. thanks for hosting!
Cass
