REDNESDAY

Hi everyone!

I'm working on a craft, and yesterday I decided to take it with me and work on it while I waited for Becky at her school - I had about an hour and didn't want to walk the track because I have swollen glands again. So I packed everything up in my handy-dandy little suitcase that I received from Sandy of 521 Lake Street, and off I went! All these cherries and red made for an enjoyable hour (plus the new Cath Kidston magazine that came in the mail this week!).

Remember the Brit Bag I got last year? It had those round bamboo handles and one was broken. So, instead of fixing it, Mister just broke off the good one! (grumble, grumble) What to do? It fits perfectly on one of those plastic sock hangers. "Across the pond" - or picture - is an American flag decoration!

Picked up this cute cookie tin at the thrift shop this week. I was going to crop the picture below the lace when I noticed all the red on the boxes!

How cute! I love the magazine cover and how creative to turn it into "yours" :) And what sweet family memories those boxes you did NOT crop gave this baby boomer! We used to shop at a store called Market Basket. I haven't heard of it in years. Thank you for a delightful visit for Rednesday. :)

Great Reds! Great find on the tin.
I am drooling over your yellow walls and border. That is wonderful. Do you remember the name of the color of the yellow? I am painting a spare bedroom yellow. I had it matched to the color in my bedroom, only it seems darker. I am not very happy with it. Your color looks perfect.

Love that bag, and just about anything with the good old Union Jack on it! I think we both need to take a trip to England and tour all the cottages and gardens to our heart's content!

In my household, I don't need a cookie tin as big as your red one. The cookies get eaten before I get a chance to put them away.
