Hi everyone! Welcome to Rednesday! Yes, I know it's still Summer, and it's as hot as Hades in many places still, but . . .
Football season starts this week!! Woo hoo!! (Happy dance, happy dance!) I'm so excited!
A few more reds from the garden ~
Plains Coreopsis, self-sows, grows 3+ feet and needs staking.
A no-name Dahlia, but oh-so-pretty! I just dry off the tubers, throw them in a bucket, and store in the basement for the winter.
A satiny red Estee Lauder case that I picked up at a yard sale. Good sized: 11 x 9 x 4" deep.
The back side of my doo-dads storage caddy.
And a yard sale sign . . .

Sue, you are sooooo right about it being hot. Dahlias are know to love the heat. I need to try to grow them next year. Your's are gorgeous.
Thanks for hosting each week. ~ Sarah
That little case is sweet!!
I am not doing the happy dance about football season! I become a football widow. In fact, my DH becomes a stranger this time of year. After 20 some years of marriage, he has not converted me yet. I still don't watch!
No red for me this week but I did find a sweet pink. I love to come and take peeks of what everyone else finds...Renee
I enjoyed all your reds today, but especially the flowers. Mine are all burned up from the heat.
Hi Sue,
Love the center of that Coreopsis. Hey, thanks for the tip about Dahlia tubers. One year I dug mine up placed them ever so nicely in sawdust (as advised),and placed them in the basement. Only to find next Spring that they had mildewed. UGH! Planted some this year at my new house. Going to give it a whirl, or should I say toss? LOL! As always, thanks for hosting.
Ahh, it's Wednesday with its blogs to spend my coffee breaks with.
That case is so hot red!!
That first flower is so pretty...I love it> The suit case is divine and loving your doo dads!
Great red case! Thanks for hosting!!
Hugs,
