REDNESDAY

Welcome everyone to the first Rednesday in October! The air here in New England is cool and crisp! Just right for a visit to the apple farm, which I might do on Friday as there's no school.

Y'know, I like my blog friends so much that I'm willing to take the shirt off my back for you! Which is exactly what I did in order to photo it! A cute little screen printed, long-sleeved, t-shirt that I recently picked up at K-Mart.

These little scarecrow buddies seem to be having a good time. I think the two on the left are sharing a private joke!

I have slowly been filling up my wooden spool jar with finds from yard sales and thrift stores. I'm just about at the top!

Last week I showed you a red transferware mug. Here it is (on the right) with its two buddies.

I showed you my Impatiens a while back. Here they are all filled out in the planter, which is an ice bucket stand!

Your impatiens are still looking so good! Mine keep getting dug up by the squirrels trying to bury their nuts in my pots. I'm so excited, I'll be linking up to you later. I've missed Rednesday!

Such lovely reds. The scarecrows are adorable. I have several little ones around my living room as well, plus a ginormous one I've had for forever, and my grandkids love him immensely! :) What a great idea with the spool jar. I need to start a button jar and hit the yardsales. They are great for fun and easy crafts for grand kids and seniors alike and tis definitely the season to think of making Christmas gifts. Thanks for a lovely visit. :)

Touches of red always stand out in any scene! Just one of the gathering of scarecrow buddies has a red hat and that one draws attention to the others! Great photos!

Sue, love ALL your reds, it would be impossible to choose a favorite! When I was young and didn't have much sense (ha) I had lots of wooden spools from my Mother. I don't even remember what happened to them..grrrr...
Have a great Rednesday!
