REDNESDAY

Hi everyone! Hope you've all had a good week. Is everyone out of school yet? Becky had her last day on Monday, but I still have to get up for Jade for a few more days. My (new) camera is wonky, so I can't share any photos; but, I scanned a book that I purchased recently.

This is "Trudy Phillips, New Girl", a Whitman book from 1953. I haven't read it yet, but it's got a great cover!
I like how it has a bulletin-board theme for each chapter heading, and each one is different, too!

I have featured several vintage books lately. I think some of them are neater than the new.

Hi!
I'm new to your party and will be sharing some cacti with red flowers.

I love the homey cuteness of your blog and will snoop around a bit if you don't mind, lol.

Thanks for hosting this fun Party!

What a sweet book! I never had to be the New Girl in school. I think that was good for me. Hope your camera gets working soon, or even a new one! But the scanner works well! My son is out of school, but my daughter is taking an extra math class for summer! Means a lot of driving for me, but that is okay! I am so happy I have something I can link to your party this week!
Thanks for hosting this great party!
Blessings,
Susie

Sue, I love old books. I'm reading 'The Secret at the Gatehouse' by Carolyn Keene, published in 1940. It is from the Dana Girls mystery collection. I think this might be before the Nancy Drew series..Great Book...Happy Rednesday !
