REDNESDAY

Hello everyone! Welcome to another hot Rednesday across North America! I thought I was done with my red flowers, but, noooo! I have more. Lucky you, lol! These are 'Red Wing Butterfly' Gladiolas. They're not perennial below zone 7. I got mine from Breck's.

Here they are, unintentionally placed near white peach-leaf bell flowers and dwarf blue balloon flowers. Quite patriotic, if I must say so myself!

Next, is my Hen and Chicks flowering, with little traces of red in them!

This is Oriental Lily 'Muscadet" - love the evening fragrance!

And, finally, my red plant stand with Jade's seedlings (what's left of them!).

Have a great week!

Sue! I love your flower posts, everything is so lovely and you have flowers I've never seen before.

Love love love your red glads, I've never ever seen them before! I used to get the Brecks catalog years ago and would pour over it.

Now I'm familiar with Hen and Chicks but I've never seen a blooming one. I need to get out more in the world huh?! :)

Thanks again for hosting! Happy Rednesday to you!

Well, of course I love your red white and blue flowers! And that stand is pretty fantastic too. Another 100 degree day here, so no playing in the dirt for me :-( Glad you've got some flowers for me to look at today!
Happy REDnesday,
Carol

You came up with a good selection of reds today. I have a big hen and chicken plant but it is not blooming.

Your flowers are lovely. However the only one I am familiar with is the lily. Nice to learn about the others.

It is so hot here and has been 3 weeks now , 100 today
I water my flowers everyday and they look dry at the end of every day . I am trying to keep my hydrangeas from dying in this heat I even have them behinfh a wood fence so afternoon sun doesn't get to them

what will winter be like ?

happy to see ya

Those RED Glads are stunning, I don't think I have ever seen any like that. I remember having a plant stand like that but mine was brass or maybe it was white, anyway, I love it! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend, Nan
