SUMMER OF BOOKS

At the beginning of Summer, I decided to make this a summer of reading. I started with some Reader's Digest Condensed Books that I had picked up, six in all. Mister said that his mother had tons of them in her attic. When I asked her about them she said they had all been donated about three or four years ago. Pooh!

Then I read these ~

Recently, I have discovered the James Patterson series of Alex Cross books. I'm hooked!

I haven't done a single craft all summer! Just reading, gardening, and housework. Oh, and a little t.v. - I love the Crossing Jordan show and am watching it on Netflix.

 A good summer for me!

Sounds like the perfect summer to me! I've been reading, watching some great TV on Hulu and spending time with friends and family. I can't believe it's almost fall! Hugs, Linda

Because of the hot temps, this has become a summer of books for me too! I always have to have a book to read, but lately I've been reading two books a week instead of my usual one book. Do you like mysteries? My favorites right now are the Agatha Raisin books, taking place in the Cotswolds of England, which I REALLY want to visit!
Happy Reading!

That's the thing about summer. We get so caught up in stuff that we forget to.....relax! Good for you!
My Mister just discovered James Patterson this summer when we were staying at an inn.

I get the monthy Reader's Digest from a friend, it is in better format now than it was Sue i had loads of the handback books but the print was so small they went in the end to a charity shop.
