O, REDNESDAY, WHERE ART THOU?

I'm a woman of constant sorrow
I've seen trouble all my day.
I bid farewell to old Rednesday
The place where I was born and raised.

No, I'm not full of sorrow or trouble!  I had an unusually busy week and completely forgot about Rednesday! Isn't that terrible! My humble apologies!

I do have an announcement to make, though.

After giving it considerable thought, I have decided to pass the baton and retire from hosting Rednesdays. I've been doing this for four years now and have enjoyed every minute. But, time for me to give it a rest and just do "regular" blogging.

Now, what will happen to Rednesdays? Well, that's up to you. If any of you would like to become the new host, just let me know and I'll gladly hand over the reigns (and my Linky password). If no one steps up, then Rednesdays will just be a part of history, and a happy one, at that! I will finish out April myself, unless someone steps up early. Then I will announce it here, so everyone can transfer over.

Sorry to see you go, but truly understand. I have enjoyed REDnesday each week. I will continue to check on you at your regular blog. Take care my cherry friend.
I am sure someone with the smarts will take it over.

I will miss you hosting Rednesday. Maybe we can talk you into hosting once a quarter?

It's been a great party and I always love all the reds, but I have been absent from linking as no reds to share. I understand your moving on!
I expect you will still post a lot of redness! hugs, Linda

I have loved being a part of Rednesday! I understand that a linky party is a big commitment and that is why I have never started a party ~ just don't have the time. Thank you so much for hosting for all these years. It certainly has been fun and I have fond memories!

Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

I am a total RED person and arrived at your party just as it is ending. I see someone says she will host it so I am going to go right over there and encourage her to follow through.

The end of an era! I remember that Rednesday was the very first bloggy party that I participated in. Thanks for being the hostess with the mostest, and of course I will still be popping in for a visit here. Can't wait to see how your garden grows this year, Sue!

4 yrs is a long time. I do appreciate you giving us a warning instead of just stopping. Thank you for that.
I will be back later to link for this Wednesday party.

I have loved Rednesday! If I hadn't started Share Your Cup I would nab it up in one big hurry. We will miss you as our hostess, but I will still pop over and visit your wonderful blog! It is alot of work to keep the party rolling. The weeks just seem to fly by!

I just popped in after a five month break with my own blog and was dismayed to see you have decided to retire Rednesday! When looking over my pictures for my first post, I set aside several for Rednesday posts! I thank you for hosting it and only wish I had been around for the entire four years! I'm off to check Cottage Sweet Cottage to see if she picked up the reins!
