New Deck
My teen daughter has always shied away from calling me Mom - I don't know why. About mid-elementary school she started calling me Mum-Buddy, then after a few years she switched to Lady Person, and now it's just Lady. People think she's being disrespectful when they hear her call out, "Hey, Lady!", but she's just saying "Hey, Mom!". She also started calling her father "Mister".
I said all that to say this . . . Mister is going to tear down and replace the back "deck", which is more of a landing - about 4' x 4'. I think I'll take before and after pics. Right now the stairs are against the house, and I'm hoping I can talk him into having them go straight out from the door instead.
Today I'm potting up a bunch of seeds. I'm a week behind of my own schedule, but wanted to wait for the new moon. It's supposed to make a difference.
Here are some Easter crafts I made for the house, from seeing the idea around the web.

Such a cute post, lol...reminds me of my baby boy, at about 13 he started calling me Marj, like you I don't know why, he called his Dad "olde man" when he played baseball he'd holler out of the dugout, Hey Marj get me a gatoraide and his Coach would just roll his eyes....lol...didn't upset me, he wasn't disrespecting me, it was just his pet name for me, no one else ever called me Marj.He is 29 and still calls me Marj.
Hope your deck turns out good Can't wait to see pictures.
Also like your Easter crafts.

Good luck with your deck...I hope
the Mister does it up right for you.;-)
Lovely decorations!!
Neat crafts and now I have the urge to call you Lady :)
Am having a lovely afternoon visiting the New England Blog Roll, thanks for sharing these wonderful little Easter creations. Enjoyed reading your blog posts.
I'm missing my entire front porch. All 900 sq. ft. My "Mister" and son in law said the only thing holding it together was the paint. =0
Hope you project goes smoothly.
Lucky Lady! You have inspired me to make some Easter crafts...my favorite holiday! Hallelujah!
