Yard Work

I'm sure that many, like I, puttered around
the yard this weekend. The weather was so warm here in New England (50'sF)! So I got out my garden gloves and rake and, well, puttered! I feel alive again - outdoors is where I was meant to be. Not just any "outdoors", mind you. I don't do walks, jogs, or just sitting. I GARDEN!

I was delighted
to find one of the primroses with buds, and of course the crocuses and daffodils are pushing their way up through the ground. It's just a matter of time until Spring bursts forth in all its glory!

Spring is God's way of telling us that winter has passed. I love all the little green heads pushing up through the dirt..

lol, I meant to take a photo of
our little primrose coming up near the garden gate.
Today we also had our first Ground Hog Sighting..he looks like last years..which means he'll be smarter and I'll need to be on my toes.
