VTT - Happy Easter!

Yay! It's Thursday again! Follow the yellow brick road . . . oops, I mean, the yellow aproned baker, over to Coloradolady for some great finds on Vintage Thingies Thursdays!

My first item you'll have to bop over to yesterday's post to see - I was at an antique store Sunday and found this most deliciously awesome CHERRIES round tin. I'm so excited, I still can't stop hopping up and down!

Well, I mentioned to Mister that I saw a Westmoreland milk glass creamer & sugar set there, but didn't want to spend the $20 on it. So he surprised me with it on Tuesday!
Now here's a little vintage something for Easter. It still winds up to play Here Comes Peter Cottontail! The bunny and chick are not vintage, just cute!
See you next week!

Nice items - love the critters even tho they are not vintage - they have character!

That Peter Cottontail basket is beyond unique. Isn't it amazing that it can still play!? No batteries, button batteries, or electronics involved!

I've spent a pleasant time browsing your blog and admiring your stuff--I love red too! And don't you just love it when your kids want to go to an antique store? My girls and I have a great time looking at second hand things--whether it's thrift or antique! Very cute basket! And maybe next week, I will have it all together and show you the whole bowl of cherries that you admired in the picture!

I've never seen an Easter basket that played music like that. Wow! Hubby needs an extra egg in his basket for that cute sugar and creamer set. Love you red tin as well. Great post today. Thanks!

I love milk glass and have my mothers collection. When I redo the kitchen, it will have it's own special display case, though I love using it as well, in summer mostly as it makes one feel cool and refreshed!

It still plays? Wow!
Milke glass? I love it..we have
many inherited and hunted pieces.
I also have a "thing" for sugar/creamer sets.
