BAMBI

There was a doe in the "field" behind our barn yesterday morning. She's a big one! They're always trampling through my garden, squashing my plants - grrr!

ugh! I love the beautiful creatures but they ruin my gardens too. Finally, after trying everything, short of a 20 ft. fence, I gave up and all my gardening is in containers on my deck now. LOL...as I write this 5 deer just ran across the back yard. Have a super great weekend. ~ Lynn

We had a lot of "dear" visitors on Whidbey Island, too. They would just mosey through and munch the apples sliced up for them. There was very little I had planted that they liked to eat. I had an entire acre yard with NO GRASS, only clover planted (NO MOWING, YAY), and if they ate that, I never could tell...

Pretty shot of such a docile looking demolition animal!

we (hopefully) solved the problem with a long, narrow, fenced garden.
