VTT - Framed Prints

Wow, Thursday already! Where has the week gone? Today I'm showing some framed prints I have around the house.

This first print is from an old children's book (I don't know which one). I got it from eBay and, of course the cherries are what made me buy it. I framed it myself and it resides in the Kitchen.

Can't remember where I got this one. Sorry it's a little washed out - too much sun coming in the window. It lives in the Pantry.
I purchased this at an antique store about six years ago because I like Foxgloves. They happily while away the hours in the hallway.
This last print is from a children's Sunday School (oversized) story book. I got this from eBay also. I remember these from my childhood Sunday School days. And, of course being a gardener, I like it even more! These little children hang out in my Living Room.

Thanks for visiting! Let's go see what Suzanne and the others have up their sleeves on Vintage Thingies Thursday over at Coloradolady.

These are all great, Sue, but my favs are the first and last. Those kids are too cute, and the birds with the cherries so elegant.

First...to answer your question...I am beginning to think that No, there is nothing that I don't collect. I really don't seem to start out that way...I just seem to find lots of like things that "call to me", then, before I know it...I have more than one!!.....problem....much!!

I love your prints. I love the first and last ones too. The cherries and the birds are great!

Have a great VTT!!

Great pictures. I love them all.
I enjoyed my visit today, I needed to read a few of your posts to catch up with you. Two weeks on vacation can really get a girl behind on her blog friends.
Take care and enjoy your day,
Elizabeth

I love the idea of framing a page from a childrens book! I shall remember this creative idea! That first one looks so sweet. Could put anywhere in your house and would look so lovely and reminiscent of childhood.

" When I write or share something about one of my friends in a posting, I always make sure I send them a copy of it, so they know what was said about them. Today I included information about you and your blog site in my posting, so I thought I should let you know about it as well."

The above paragraph is the first paragraph in an email I sent out today, to all of the owners of blogs whom host "theme days", that I could find email addresses for. But I was unable to find an email address on your blog so that I could include you in the email. The rest of the email is what I posted today on our blog. Go to: www.xanga.com/thehousethatlovebuilt to read it for yourself.

Hopefully, it will then clarify of all of this for you ;-}

Love all the prints, especially the last one. I read through your post from yesterday, too. Love your strawberries! This is the first year I have attempted to grow strawberries. I have about 25 plants. Not sure how they will do. We have a lot of critters roaming around!! Have a nice day~
