VTT

Greetings to all of you in VTT land!

Today, I'm showing you my vintage garden tools.

The bug spray can says SMITH on it, and the glass is a nice dark amber.
This red-handled claw is my favorite tool. I repaint it every year because I wear it off so much! (the scissors aren't old, just got stuck in the photo for my garden site)
Of course, I have to show you Mister's latest acquisition! Weirdest lamp I've ever seen! A $2 bargain. To me, the bottom looks Deco, while the top looks Eames. Any opinions on this?
That's all for this week!

Suelovescherries, great post. Love the vintage tools. I have a claw but yours is prettier. Interesting lamp. Learned a few things by doing a search. http://www.collectorsweekly.com/lamps/eames

I used to have some like the top green ones. They didn't last very long.

Yep, I concur, weird lamp :)
Those garden tools look like they have lots of life left in them...so much better than the new ones!

Another thing that we both like! I have alot of old gardening tools, but I wish I could think of a creative way to display them, because they are just scattered around the potting shed. I really like that lamp, for it's uniqueness!

That's a LAMP? Rub on it; maybe a genie will come out. That or a moth!!!

I like those garden tools!

Really nice set of vintage garden tools. I remember my grandma had some shears like yours.

Interesting lamp...it almost looks like the top does not go with the bottom. Does it work? It was a great price either way.

I think it would look great maybe painted and put in the corner of a room for additional light.

Have a great VTT and a wonderful Holiday weekend.

Great tools! That bug spray can is awesome.

I don't think any of my garden tools will survive for my posterity - I always forget to bring them in from the rain! lol.
