VTT

Happy hot Thursday everyone!

This is an adorable small canister set I got from eBay. I think it's a child's set (sans Flour) because the sugar is only 4"/10cm tall. I love them!

This is an old settee(?) that Mister picked up years ago. Still hasn't gotten around to upholstering it, but I think it would look grand in leather! I picture this piece in a western house, like on Bonanza or something!

This is an old candy tin, I'm assuming. Made in England.

And for those of you who haven't heard yet, I'm changing my name! (Same URL, though.) Starting next week, I will no longer be My Secret Garden but, rather . . .
Have a great week everyone!

That little canister set is just darling, and so is the kitty candy tin! You can picture Hoss and Little Joe sitting on that? Too pretty. Maybe Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke!

So sorry I missed Rednesday this week, it's been rather chaotic here. Love the name change, very cute. About that setee, I have one in the very same state. Got it FREE from goodwill a year ago. Had the cushion and back upholstery done by a friend, but it's waiting for hubby to stain it before we put it back together...and waiting..and waiting...I just wanted to paint it RED and be done with it but he wanted to "help"! At least he tries.

Love the precious vintage settee. I have a horrible habit of painting everything white a la shabby chic. I'd be at that with a brush in no time!

Precious canister set. Do you keep anything in them? The settee will be gorgeous how ever it's re-done. And that kitty looks so very real!

Your new name certainly fits!
