REDNESDAY - MY TREE

Do you all have your tree up yet? I'm one who likes to put it up immediately after Thanksgiving but, the past few years, I've been getting tired of dry needles and drooping branches. Thus, I've put it off a week or two. It's up now, and here it is!

I don't know why but, every time I tried to snap a photo at night with the tree lights on, it would come out blurry, no matter what. Now, let's look at some ornaments on the tree!

The bell shaped one (lower middle) came with an It's A Wonderful Life dvd, saying "Every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings".

Oh, there's nothing like a real tree! You picked a real winner, because it's got such a great shape to it. And it's filled with such beautiful ornaments, but I think my favorite is the "I love garage sales" one!
Happy Rednesday and Merry Christmas!

Your tree is beautiful -- great shape to it! I LOVE fresh trees; we have both now, but I do favor the fresh one, even with the needles dropping by January!
Wherever did you get that garage sales ornament? That is so adorable!

Merry Christmas! We usually put our trees up 2 weekends before the 25th; mine are up, but not fully decorated yet! Eek!

Happy Rednesday... Cass

I LOVE YOUR TREE SO MUCH. WHEN I FIRST SAW THE SHAPE OF IT, IT REMINDED ME OF A TREE THAT WOULD BE IN A DISNEYLAND MOVIE....IT DANCED AROUND THE ROOM AFTER EVERYONE WENT TO SLEEP AND ALL THE ORNAMENTS CAME TO LIFE...I THINK I'LL WRITE A STORY ABOUT THAT.
ENJOYED LOOKING AT ALL YOUR ORNAMENTS AND I LOVE THAT CAT THAT IS ABOVE YOUR WINDOW....THAT IS REALLY CUTE.

Your tree is lovely! And so nicely shaped too. I can't get good photos at night. I never use the flash, as I don't like it. So perhaps that's why! Thanks for hosting. I'm a RED gal!

The real trees are the only ones we ever had and I still like them best. I love the fresh, earthy smell you can get from them. You did a super job on picking a nice tree and your decorations are great.

It does look lovely. It's really difficult to get a good photo of the entire tree with the lights on isn't it?

I couldn't understand why my photos without the flash were blurry too. Then my hubby told me that photos taken in low light will detect the slightest movement even if you think you aren't moving your hand. He suggests that I use a tripod when not using the flash and you know what that's works. He lent me his "baby" tripod - it's a tiny one to set on a table. For photos at night with no flash and just the tree lights I will have to drag the large tripod out. I'm still learning how to take photos but I like the ones without using the flash. PS - I love RED too!
