REDNESDAY - POT HOLDERS

Happy March everyone! Even though many thoughts turn to Green this month, what with St. Patty's Day and Spring, there's always room for some Red! (ALWAYS!)

Here, I'm showing you an Oriental hangy-thingy in Teen's room. It's a big metal medallion with a crane, I think; the top part is done in a macrame-type design, and the bottom is just a big red tassel.

These are some new-to-me old potholders that I thrifted recently. The sales lady hesitated before saying that they were 50 cents each because they were old. These people crack me up! They match my Wallies square quite nicely!

The top of the Asian hanging tassel in your teen's room is LUCKY, a LUCKY KNOT! My Korean friends could make all kinds of them, just amazing the knotwork they could do by heart.

Nice find, they sure do match, just perfect. I love the hangy-thingy...lol..I have one I showed a while back. It is pink and a friend brought it back to me when she went home to Korea to visit her Mom.

Love potholders, but for some unknown reason I still use my tea towels when taking something out the oven...perhaps they are just easier to grab...who knows???
Warmest hugs,

You are so funny! Love those red pot holders! I linked up to your post, but it would be helpful if I could spell langiappe correctly. Now I have thoroughly confused myself. Linky #22 works. Thanks for hosting Rednesday. It's my fave!

Love,
Susan and Bentley

I feel like an idiot for spelling lagniappe incorrectly, so I am going back to my post to correct it.

Love,
Susan again
