Happy Valentine's Day!

With love from me to you - all my blog friends!

I'm going to show you some of the valentines that I made this past week. Tomorrow, I'll start showing off the fabulous V's I received from my swap!

First is the hanging valentine that I made for my swap ~

I made this decoration from a thrifted box. The third photo down shows the inside details. The flowers are from a used candy box. I have a spool of vintage red grosgrain ribbon that was perfect for the handle/hanger.

This is the Valentine I made for Jade, the first-grader I watch. It's a door hanger that I got from Stampin' Up! a few years back. Had fun matching papers!
I decorated a used candy box for her mom's gift. Purple is her favorite color and she wears black all the time. She used to be a semi-goth type person in her younger days, so I decided to make it funky, with just a touch of frill!

This is the side edge that was pinked; made from a piece of plastic belt strap.

I'll see you tomorrow!

Thank you for the Valentine! I hung it on a wreath I made for Valentines day. I took some multi colored cotton yarn and went around a styrofoam circle and wasn't sure if I wanted to put felt flowers on it or other ornaments but when your valentine arrived it was a perfect fit! I will post a picture tomorrow if I haven't already. Its late and I need to get to bed. Hope your day was LOVE-ly, funwithauntkadralouise
